Twenty miles from Ayrshire Abode, Prestwick Golf Club - the home of the Open Championship -holds a special place in the heart of many professional golfers.  Ernie Els refers to it as "one of the best golf experiences in the world".  Bringing all the challenges of a Links course on the Ayrshire Coast.  It also enjoys a ranking within the top 20 golf courses worldwide.

Another Links Course close to Ayrshire Abode, only 35 minutes to drive to this historical Club,  established in 1878 and given its "Royal" designation in 1978.  It will host the Open Championship for the tenth time in July 2024, having held its first in 1923.  Golfers and golf enthusiasts will be there in droves.


You can find out more about the full range of courses available to you at Ayrshire Golf Scotland.  Two miles from your doorstep is Girvan Golf Club, overlooking Arran and the Irish Sea.  It is a Links course sharing coastal views with Turnberry.
